My Concept

Everyone has their own choice of how to live their lives. I would never want to live the same life of anyone else. The intend of this blog is, of course, not to force anyone to live the same lifestyle as I do, but instead is to share my stories to inspire you to find your very own happiness at your choice.

Whole Food Plant-Based

I would really prefer to call it Whole Food Plant-Based instead of Vegan. The reason is that less processed real food is way more important than just simply avoid meat. Nowadays, as Vegan get more and more attention, there are too many Vegan junk food that do not qualify for whole food plant-based diet. Being able to eat less processed food is the key. When I first started Vegan, I was a little bit panic about what I can eat. Thus, I went out for food almost everyday at different vegan restaurants in NYC. “Luckily”, I am in NYC, where there are tons of vegan restaurants for me to go at convenient locations so I never felt hungry. Unfortunately, constant dining out makes me trapped with lots highly processed food. Soon after eating unhealthy vegan food, I found vegan diet is not as healthy promising as it sounds. I then started to calm down and do my own research. That is when I started my journey to become a certified plant-based nutritionist. I will share more along this journey and hope to help you avoid unnecessary detour of your own.

Fitness

When it comes to exercise, we all have numerous experience and feelings. Because our bodies are so different from each other, there will hardly be a one fit all workout routine. Exploring different workout routine is actually the best way to keep motivated and excited. Also, be able to alter workout routine can also be more effective by challenging the body from various aspects. However, while trying out different exercises, I tend to always keep my favorite exercise – running baked in my weekly schedule. I always enjoy the sweat and happiness from a good run.

Travel

A journey would not be a real one without travel. Travel is my all-time favorite topic since I was a kid. I am lucky to grow up in a family embracing travel all the time. I remember when I was a little kid, my parents always took me to a trip during summer and winter breaks, and when I was in high school, my parents started to let me go on trips on my own (or with my friends). I am blessed to be able to visit all different places and meet different people all over the world. Travel always fuels me with good stories to share with friends, colleagues, and families. Lots’ of people find it is hard to continue travel when they start a full-time job or a family. That is not really true, at least to me. I have a full-time job which is quite busy, but I will always take a break from work and use my vacation time to travel. Staycation is just not my type. I can either hop on to a 3-day short trip during a long weekend public holiday or get on a 10 days trip with my vacation days. Travel can be tired especially traveling overseas, however, the memory from the trip is always awesome and worthwhile.

Music

I am a big Trance music fun and love to go to festivals a lot. The reason is simple, I love the music and I love to meet with people share the same love. The fabulous fact about me is that I don’t need anything else back the music to get really excited or “high”. At festivals, most of the time I drink water, sometimes a little alcohol (recently become less and less). I like the idea to really love the music from my deep heart and enjoy it when it lives. I’ve been to lots of festivals, including Ultra(Miami and Europe), EDC, Tomorrowland, Creamfield, ADE/AMF, ASOT, and etc. I will share my experience at all festivals I went to simply just spread my love for music.
